Use Orange DSM TX module.  Throttle is configured for a brushless setup using a BLHeli ESC in "Gov Arm" mode.

To use first set SD-, wait a second, then switch back to SD↑.  This sets the governor target head speed.  Next switch to SC- and the main motor should spool up.  SC↓ provides a curve to help hold the tail, I'm not sure which is better.  To stop switch to SC↑.
