Racing Quad template v1.1

Note: THIS IS AN OpenTX v2.2 .OTX.  IT HAS BEEN RENAMED .eepe TO ALLOW UPLOAD HERE.  SHOULD STILL LOAD IN COMPANION 2.2

Switches: 

• SA(up) safety on (will not arm)
• SA(mid) race mode throttle (0-100%)
• SA(dn) cruise mode throttle (0-"S2"%) - Great for spring throttle or overpowered racers in novice hands. (Was a bug in this in V1.1 fixed in V1.2)
• SE(up) self level mode
• SE(mid) acro mode
• SE(dn) race mode
• SF Throttle hold and Engine disarm
• SH While in safety: Toggle VTX pit mode
• SH While in hold: Arm/disarm engines
• SH While in self level or race mode will enable self level and centre sticks (panic)
• SH While in acro cuts throttle to 0% (allows falling tricks while maintaining control - be sure to enable air mode in Betaflight)
• SH HELD while TH released  to Race mode activates launch mode.
• SG toggle DR/expo rates (all set to 100 - ideally modify rates in Betaflight)
• SB/SC/SD can be used for in flight tuning

Launch Mode:

SH HELD while TH released  to Race mode activates launch mode.

• While held for launch, throttle remains at 0 with engines retain armed state.
• Once SH released throttle raised to stick level.
• Lua script to launch quad to fast level flight in development.

Flight modes (announced):

• FM1 - Safety
• FM2 - Disarmed
• FM3 - Armed
• FM4 - Self Level
• FM5 - Acro
• FM6 - Launch
• FM7 - Race

Flying sequence:

1. TX ON
2. SA up (safety on) {Safety}
3. Plug in model
4. SF up (hold)
5. SA mid or SA dn (safety off - select throttle mode) {Disarmed}
6. Toggle SH (while SF up) {Armed}
7. SF dn (fly) {Self Level, Acro or Race}
   
   
   
8. SF up (hold) {Disarms - immediately}

** you need to arm again (Toggle SH) to re-arm before releasing hold **

Launch sequence:

** Same as up to step 5 with hold on **

6. Ensure SE dn (Race mode)
7. Hold SH dn (momentary switch)
8. Release Hold (SF up) while holding SH dn {"Launch mode" announced}
9. The instant you release SH throttle response enabled. {"Launch" announced}

** After 2 seconds it reverts to FM7 (Race mode)

** LS33 is active while launch is in progress, this is what the launch LUA script will eventually be tied to.

Channels:

• 1 - Throttle
• 2 - Aileron
• 3 - Elevator
• 4 - Rudder
• 5 - Armed/Disarmed
• 6 - Self Level (-100 off, 0 SL, +100 rescue)
• 7 - Rate mode selection (SG selector)
• 8 - In flight config select (SC/SD selector)
• 9 - In flight config adjust (up/down - SB)

Other notes:

• Timer only activated on throttle armed (currently set for 4 mins).
• May need to re-discover telemetry on your own craft to get correct telemetry values.
• VFAS battery warning set at 14.8V (Set in LS35 and LS36).
• Requires Betaflight Telemetry script to enable telemetry screens (https://github.com/betaflight/betaflight-tx-lua-scripts/releases)
• Requires Pit Mode enable/disable script to automatically handle pit mode for VTX's that can be controlled by telemetry (http://rcsettings.com/index.php/viewdownload/6-multirotors/314-pit-mode-enable-disable)
• Pit mode is enabled when Safety flight mode is entered AND SD is down.
• Pit mode is disabled when Safety flight mode is entered AND SD is mid.
