Hello, I know I'm very very late to this game but I just bought a 350 QX2 (for $35) I'm trying to get it to arm the motors and all it ever does is the very short and quick beeps. They only stop in this switch configuration: SF UP (armed) SA MID SB MID which puts the copter in AP Mode. they also stop beeping in this switch configuration: SF UP (armed) SA and SB in any possition Throttle CH1 at exact 0 (middle) from here moving rudder CH2 (left or right) starts beeping again. I'm in high rates with all Channels operating between -100 and 100. I'm trying to arm by moving both sticks down and in. Or by moving the throttle stick left and right while SF DOWN. Motors don't want to arm... any help?

I am relatively new to this hobby and just received my TaranisX9D this week. I was looking for any info on how to set up my Taranis with my 350 QX and stumbled onto this site. Am I correct in assuming that the templates you mention are the data necessary to set up the transmitter for a specific model? If I download the template and then copy it to the Micro SD card in the transmitter, that should put the model on the model list? Am I heading in the right direction? Thanks for any help you can give me. Craig

SLaSH, So I was out flying with your setup the other day and had a GoPro2 on the 350QX and was in winds about 5-10 mph. I was in safe mode and had run it to the peak elevation that safe mode allows. I decided to switch over to Stability mode and clicked the switch. At that point the 350QX did a complete flip (which I did catch on video). The reason I am mentioning this is that I believe that it might have to do with having separate trims for each flight mode, and my mistake of actually having the trims not zeroed for each flight mode. I double checked and I had a different trim setting in each mode (Safe and Stability). I went into the eepe and told all other modes to use Flight Mode 1's trim settings (Stability), and zeroed out the trims in FM1. I did a preliminary test yesterday afternoon, and switched between modes and that seems to have kept it stable.

Picked up my Blade 350QX yesterday. Love it! Thanks for setting this up. To note, nothing to do with this setup, but it took me a while to figure out that arming the motors (certain stick movements after arming the throttle) means that they actually start up and "idle". I was in the house with my son holding it down and staying clear of all props and had to watch a video to actually realize that was normal. The instructions they include are very minimal. You should download the full manual to help explain the modes this setup works with. Again, easy to use setup here.
